I have been President/CEO of Fairhaven for 15 years and have worked in long-term care/retirement communities for the past 38 years. After Graduating from Lakeland University in Sheboygan, WI with a Health Care Administration degree I focused my career on serving in the faith-based, church-affiliated, philanthropic communities located in Ashland/Rib Lake WI, Pleasant Hill TN, Des Moines IA, Eagle Grove IA, and Whitewater WI.

I enjoy working with smaller communities where you can see the result of your relationships with residents, board, and staff and the involvement in the decisions needed for directing organizations.

Charlotte and I have been married for 38 years and have two daughters Emily and Deanna both residing in Wisconsin. Fairhaven is a special community because of its many long-term relationships, serving multiple generations of residents and their families.

Being one of three executives in the history of Fairhaven, Rev. Carroll J. Olm, and Rev. David Yochum, and knowing each one has helped in understanding the history and development of Fairhaven and “Adding Life to Years”.
