Volunteer for Fairhaven
There are so many ways YOU can make an impact!
Here at Fairhaven Senior Services and within the Leisure Services Department we offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities Monday-Saturday and all we ask for is a minimum of 20-30 hours over the volunteer experience. The hours can overlap during winter/summer breaks if needed.
Volunteers help assist Leisure Services with planned and un-planned activities and provide meaningful conversations and interactions with the residents here at Fairhaven. Opportunities include: outings, outdoor activities, UW-W campus events, UW-W class/student org. events here, bingo, dog treat making, musical entertainers, crafts, exercise games, 1 to 1 visits, and much more.
Volunteer Time Frames:
Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 11:30am | 1:00pm - 4:00pm | 5:00pm - 8:30pm
Saturday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
You would not need to volunteer the entire shift (example: 9-11:30….2-4…) unless you are signed up for the PM shift and that one we do ask you to be here the full time. One could volunteer multiple times during the week. We only take 2 volunteers per time frame.
