To prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) into our community, Fairhaven has now gone to a NO VISITORS status. We do this for the protection of those most vulnerable to the virus and appreciate the understanding of our residents, their families, and our community.

What are we doing?

We want to keep Fairhaven Residents and Family members up to date on the things we are doing to prepare, monitor, and prevent the Coronavirus within our community.

Fairhaven continues to monitor what is happening within the state, through the Wisconsin Health Department and CDC. There are no cases in the facility at this time.

Fairhaven is taking the steps below and will modify as necessary.

Steps We Are Taking

For Residents:

  • Monitoring symptoms daily
  • Only small group gatherings, and NO community events
  • Only critical or medical emergency trips out of the facility
  • Providing education and training with residents regarding measures taken to prevent the spread of infection, hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette

For Staff:

  • Monitoring health, and temperatures taken for all employees before each shift
  • Maintaining focus on prevention, infection control, and hand hygiene
  • Reviewing protocol for cleaning and sanitation
  • Reviewing emergency plans and responses

For Family and Visitors:

  • Encouraging other forms of communication such as phone calls, skype, facetime, etc.
  • If you have traveled outside the state/country or to an area known to have an outbreak or are experiencing any symptoms, please let us know your status.

We will provide updates as necessary on our website and in communications to you. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Fairhaven at 262-473-2140.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping to protect the health and safety of all we care for.
